America is itself a superpower. It is linked to every nation of the world, either from a trade perspective or from a historical viewpoint. America has played a significant role in technological and global trade advancement all over the world.

History

The USA’s history starts with the Americans’ contact with the Europeans in the 16th and 17th centuries. The British took control of the American trade in the 18th century. Along with the help of the French, the Americans managed to defeat the British between the years 1776 and 1783.

The Americans’ advancement period started in the 18th century when it built contacts with the French, Mexicans, and Spanish. Civil war broke out in the 1850s and ended in 1865. It cost thousands of lives. Some other museums witness America’s involvement, namely the war of Gettysburg museum and the American civil war museum.

The involvement of the USA in world war 2 made it a superpower. The 19th and 20th centuries are the periods of industrialization. These phases changed the American lifestyle and name in the global world. Many years of steady development and advancement made America a highlighted country in the world. Moreover, the first man who landed on the moon was an American that further highlighted America’s name in the world.

In the later 20th century, America’s music and pop culture boost up along with its population. The other countries of the world got fascinated by America’s growth. Americans also experienced setbacks like the financial crisis of 2008 and the world trade center attacks but didn’t fail to recover and still hold a magnificent place in the world economy.

Culture

America is a country that is interconnected to almost every country of the world as it holds a significant place in the technological and market sectors. The festivals, languages, study, and tourism of America give it a unique world position. The world-class cuisines of America also cannot be ignored.

America is highly mechanized in terms of architecture and technology. The GDP of America is highest in the world, being the 4th largest country in the world. Major industries being petroleum, vehicles, telecommunication, chemicals, and mining.

The country is seen at peace after World War II but is involved in many military operations to maintain the dominant superpower status it has achieved over time.

America is a federal republic with fifty states ruled by two parties the republicans and the democrats. As we look upon America’s religious aspect, the majority of people are Christians, followed by Islam. Some religious sites that are of great importance are the salt lake city and south Dakota’s black hills.

The USA is a leading producer of scientific knowledge and skilled manpower all over the world.
